Aligned with the updated 2021 Climate Action Plan, the City of Chico is eagerly taking strides to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Reducing 45% of the City’s overall greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 and achieving carbon neutrality by 2045 is an active goal requiring community climate action.
Switching out household appliances to energy-efficient, electric options and limiting the dependence on natural gas are some of the many ways to take climate action.
