Butte Interagency Narcotics Task Force/h2>

The Butte Interagency Narcotics Task Force (BINTF), is comprised of officers/deputies from all the agencies in Butte County. There are two BINTF offices located in Butte County. The south county office works in Oroville, Gridley-Biggs and unincorporated Butte County. The north county office works in Chico, Durham and unincorporated areas of Butte County. They work under the supervision of the California Department of Justice. Officers work in plain clothes and concentrate their work on a variety of narcotic related crimes; such as child endangerment, illegally growing/manufacturing drugs and selling narcotics.

This assignment is a six year assignment and qualifies as a detective position with the Chico Police Department. Officers gain valuable experiences from this assignment and work with the local agencies on a regular basis.
