NEW OFFICE LOCATION & HOURS:

Effective Monday, April 7, 2014, the Park Division Office will be located at the downtown Municipal Building at 411 Main Street, 2nd Floor. New office hours will be 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.

Park Division

The Park Division's major functions include the maintenance of Bidwell Park (one of the largest municipally owned parks in the United States), as well as other City parks; maintenance of City street trees (approximately 37,000 trees) and management of the many maintenance districts within Chico. The City's Park Rangers, Urban Forest Manager, and Volunteer Coordinator all work within the Park Division.
