Police Department SWAT Team
Two special team members of the Chico Fire Department are assigned to the Police Department Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team to provide tactical emergency medical support. Advanced medical care may be provided to victims, team members, or perpetrators. The Fire Department members also provide expertise regarding fire, rescue, and hazardous materials considerations.
