This station is located less than a block away from Enloe Medical Center and next door to the Enloe Conference Center.
Rescue 2 provides technical rescue support to the entire City. It is certified by the State Office of Emergency Services as a Type II rescue unit. It has equipment for rapelling, water rescues, confined space rescue, structural collapse rescue, and vehicle extrication.
Rescue Equipment not needed as frequently is stored in the Rescue Support Trailer and towed to scene by Utility 2 when requested.
Engine 2R is the 1995 reserve engine assigned to Station 2.
