Originally mounted on the top of the Firehouse for Chico Engine Co. No. 1, located on Second Street between Main and Wall, this bell is now a monument to days gone by. It is presently located in the front of Station 1, the Fire Department's administrative headquarters. During World War II, Fire Chief Tovee adamantly refused to let it go for scrap metal.
Truck 1 is a 110' aerial ladder placed into service in 2003.
Hazmat 1 is a 2005 Type 1 Hazardous Materials Response Unit covering the nonrth half of Butte County.
This 1925 Seagrave Engine was the third mororized fire engine purchased by the City and is housed at Station 1.
