Utility Users’ Tax (UUT) Refund Program
The Finance Office will be accepting applications between May 1, 2009 and June 30, 2009 for the annual UUT Refund Program. The Refund Program offers low income rate payers a refund on taxes paid for gas, electric, water and telecommunications services paid between May 1, 2008 and April 30, 2009.
The income eligibility requirements for the program are determined by the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s low income guidelines. The maximum refund allowed is calculated as 0.32% of the income level designated for a specific household size.
