Chico Redevelopment Agency
Redevelopment is a process created to assist a city or county government in eliminating blight from a designated area, and to achieve desired development, reconstruction, or rehabilitation to residential, commercial, industrial or retail areas. Redevelopment is one of the most effective tools available to generate new life into deteriorated areas plagued by social, physical, environmental or economic conditions which act as barriers to new investment by private enterprise.
